There are several ways to give to The Miracle Foundation. Every contribution really makes a difference in the lives of these children. With your donation you will receive a receipt for tax purposes and a subscription to The Miracle Foundation Newsletter. In that, you will be able to see the actual effects your donations are having on the lives of the orphans, the orphanage and its community. Urgent Needs:
 

The Miracle Foundation is overcome with excitement to share the news about our most recently acquired orphanage in the small town of Bhawani, located 1 1/2 hours south of our orphanage in Rourkela. Bhawani is the home of 130 young orphans who live, play, eat, and even attend school all in the same set of rooms in a long, low, shed-like building situated in the middle of a dusty piece of land. In addition, there are 120 children from the surrounding village who come to Bhawani to attend school and eat lunch alongside the orphans—a free service the orphanage provides to local villagers. 



On our recent trip to India in March, Caroline and a group of Ambassadors visited Bhawani and met the children for the first time. According to Ambassador Malcolm Street, “the buildings the children were living in were dilapidated, dismal, and in desperate need of repair. However, the smiling children who lived in these buildings were lovingly overseen by the staff and directors working there, who demonstrated a genuine concern for their wellbeing. What Bhawani needs is access to resources, so they can improve the infrastructure and raise their minimum standards—which is where The Miracle Foundation can help.” 



Bhawani is a great example of what the conditions of an orphanage can be like before The Miracle Foundation. With your help, we can gladly accept the challenge of rebuilding and improving the infrastructure of Bhawani, which will drastically improve the quality of life for the orphans living there and the local village children who attend school there.
