Fundraising for your Tour to India

Let's face it - traveling overseas is expensive. We'd hate for any traveler to be deterred by rising travel costs.

 

We have had great success with travelers raising funds from others for their trips to India. Those who had the most succes followed these tips closely:

• Send individual, personalized letters to family and friends detailing exactly why you want to travel to India with The Miracle Foundation
  
• Remember that you can raise $1 from 1,000 people, $100 from $10 people,  $1000 from 1 person, or anything in between. You may know some people with a lot of money or a lot of people with a little money.
  
• Keep in mind the simplest tenet of fund raising - Just Ask
  
• The most read section of any letter is the P.S. Make yours powerful!
  

Most of us are anxious about asking others for help, especially when money is involved. Yes, you are asking for others to help you raise money, but please know that you are giving them an opportunity to help.  Their money is a blessing to the children, yourself and to them.  They will love the way they feel when they use their money for this purpose. Your friends, family and peers will be delighted that you considered them, and will be excited about what you are doing.  Give them the chance to be involved in changing the life of a child too!

 

Where to send payment

Your donors can mail payment to our office address or they can make a payment online at our tour costs page. Make sure they note your name as the recipient of the deposit, on the check or in the note section of our online payment center.

• Review tour costs
  
• Book your flightl through our special travel program and The Miracle Foundation will receive a portion of the commission
• Get your passport and Indian visa in order
