Kabbadi Kabbadi!

Kabbadi Kabbadi!

The Miracle Foundation is proud to announce a new Sponsorship Coordinator in India, Snigdha. She recently spent several days at one of our newest homes, Anwesha.  She was so impressed by the happy children and how their caregivers, even the gardener, participated in playing games together. Here the children and adults are playing a game called Kabbadi. Its name comes from the Tamil words  “hands” and “catch.” Each team faces the other, and one person runs to the other side and tries to come back without being grabbed. Here are photos of the children playing Kabbadi with the housemothers, cook, the in charge and the gardener.
