Chief Product & Technology Officer

Position Summary
The Chief Product and Technology Officer will serve as the strategic leader responsible for the vision, development, and delivery of ThriveWell. This executive-level role is focused on managing a strong cross-functional team, setting product direction, and ensuring the platform is scalable, secure, and user-centered. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader—experienced in startup or social enterprise environments—with a strong background in SaaS development, user-centered design, and data-driven decision-making. This position reports directly to the CEO and works in close partnership with programmatic leadership, whose expertise and frontline insight directly inform product priorities and partner needs.
Key Responsibilities
Product, Technology & Lifecycle Strategy
- Refine and drive ThriveWell’s long-term product and technology strategy, driven by Miracle Foundation’s programmatic vision.
- Identify and prioritize product innovations, platform enhancements, and market opportunities
- Translate organizational objectives into a scalable product roadmap and technical architecture
- Evaluate and implement best-in-class tools and frameworks to support product development, partner delivery, and organizational insights
- Lead the full product development lifecycle—from discovery and design to development, launch, and iteration
- Oversee agile development processes and ensure high-quality, timely product delivery across cross-functional teams
Technical Oversight, Integration & Compliance
- Provide strategic oversight of platform architecture, data security, and system scalability
- Lead integration with internal systems (CRM, data visualization, program tracking) and partner platforms
- Ensure compliance with global data protection regulations, privacy standards, and accessibility best practices
- Manage relationships with outsourced developers, software vendors, and cloud providers
User Experience & Data-Driven Improvement
- Champion a user-centered design approach using qualitative feedback, usability testing, and usage analytics
- Collaborate with Programs team to ensure ThriveWell meets evolving needs of partners and frontline users
- Continuously improve the platform based on field insights and behavior data
- Develop and oversee a product data strategy to measure user success and social impact
- Ensure the platform supports robust reporting, dashboards, and data visualization for decision-making
Team Leadership & Culture
- Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional team including product, design, and engineering
- Build and sustain a strong team culture aligned with Miracle Foundation’s values and culture guide
- Manage external consultants and technical partners to ensure values alignment and high-quality execution
Qualifications
- 7+ years of leadership experience in product or technology
- Track record of scaling SaaS platforms or digital tools in social impact, healthtech, edtech, or government tech sectors
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to delegate and manage across disciplines
- Expertise in agile development, system integration, and data security best practices
- Experience working with impact-driven teams and/or global development sectors is a strong plus, but not required

Tools & Frameworks (Preferred Experience)
This role relies on a variety of tools to support cross-functional collaboration, product development, and data-driven decision-making. Familiarity with platforms such as Jira and Trello for project management, Figma for design and prototyping, and Google Analytics, Power BI, or Mixpanel for product analytics will be especially helpful. Additionally, experience using Confluence and Google Workspace for documentation and team collaboration will support efficient execution and communication across stakeholders.

Development Manager

Position Summary
This full-time, donor-centered, externally focused role is ideal for someone who is energized by building meaningful relationships and helping people see the direct impact of their giving. Our fundraising team is collaborative, values-driven, and deeply committed to making a difference.
The Development Manager will manage a portfolio of mid-level and emerging major donors. You’ll focus on acquiring, stewarding, upgrading, and qualifying donors for deeper engagement while supporting annual campaigns and maintaining accurate CRM documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Donor Relationship Management
- Build and manage a growing portfolio of mid-level and major gift prospects
- Personally cultivate, steward, and solicit donors through meaningful touchpoints, such as calls, emails, 1:1 meetings, and events
- Design and implement personalized engagement plans to deepen relationships and move donors up the giving ladder
- Represent the organization at donor meetings and community events (some evening and weekend availability required)
- Help shape creative donor experiences and small engagement events
- Meet an annual fundraising goal that includes a mix of acquisition and retention targets
Corporate Partnership Management
- Build, nurture, and expand relationships with corporate partners to drive engagement and support.
- Design, coordinate, and oversee impactful volunteer events that connect partners with our mission.
- Deliver compelling presentations that showcase our work and inspire investment in our cause.
Campaigns & Events
- Play a key role in our major annual fundraising campaigns, with a focus on thoughtful donor segmentation, personalized outreach, and meaningful follow-up.
- Partner with the marketing and fundraising teams to plan and execute signature community events—both online and in person—that bring people together, celebrate our mission, and inspire deeper commitment to our work.
Data Use & CRM Documentation
- Accurately record all donor outreach, moves, and activity in Salesforce
- Maintain clean, timely records to support visibility and planning
- Collaborate with the development team to use CRM data to inform strategy, monitor engagement, and identify opportunities for upgrades or referrals

Education & Professional Background
- 3–5 years of professional experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, and individual giving
- Experience managing a donor portfolio with a focus on acquisition, stewardship, cultivation, and solicitation
- Demonstrated ability to grow giving through personalized donor engagement strategies
- Experience securing donors at the $1,000–$10,000+ level (Major Gifts experience preferred)
- Comfortable attending and representing the organization at in-person donor meetings and events
- Experience in Google Suite and a donor management system, preferably Salesforce
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to read fine print, view computer screens, and communicate with others to exchange information.
