Lee Michaels brings a lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and the power of education. A seasoned corporate attorney, Michaels practiced law at Baker Botts, L.L.P.; Gardere & Wynn, L.L.P.; A.H. Belo Corporation; and Hicks, Muse & Co. She also served as a Career Advisor at SMU Dedman School of Law, mentoring the next generation of legal professionals.
Her dedication to community impact is just as extensive. Michaels served as Board Chair of the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, spent six years as a trustee for Highland Park Independent School District, led CARE-Dallas as Board Chair, and co-chaired annual fundraising events for the Grant Halliburton Foundation and Vogel Alcove. Since 2022, she has shared her wisdom and heart with Miracle Foundation, helping us advance our mission of a family for every child.
