Jesse is a UX Researcher and Designer for Miracle Foundation’s flagship products. He is interested in the power of good design as a force for social change. Before joining the team at Miracle Foundation, he spent time teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to at-risk youth, volunteering at a women’s health clinic, fundraising for the Kurdish Red Crescent, and designing for social good. Professionally, Jesse has conducted usability testing for Fortune 500 companies through contracting at a usability consultancy. He is excited to combine his passion for social justice with his expertise in usability and product design to make a better world.
Jesse enjoys third wave coffee, traveling to design museums, playing with his dog, and well designed lamps and chairs.
Jesse holds an AAS in Visual Communication – UX Design from Austin Community College and is a final year BFA Design Candidate at the University of Texas at Austin, with additional coursework in Human-Computer Interaction.
