A Post-graduate in Sociology from Pondicherry Central University, Yamuna brings an experience of about 15 years of closely working with rural communities, predominantly in Kerala. She has engaged in social mobilization, training, and the design and implementation of women empowerment programmes in the past. Prior to joining Miracle Foundation India, Yamuna has worked with the National Institute of Speech & Hearing, Kudumbashree, the National Mission for Empowerment of Women, and the MS Swaminathan Research Foundation.
