With over 22 years of experience, Arghya Mukherjee began his career in sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical industry for three years before transitioning to the development sector, where he has spent the last 18 years. He is passionate about advocating for child rights.

Arghya has worked with grassroots and international non-profits such as Gandhi Manav Kalyan Society, CHILDLINE India Foundation, CRY, Plan International, and UNICEF. Additionally, he has worked in Corporate Social Responsibility with Matix Fertilizer & Chemical Ltd. Most recently, he has led national initiatives in Corporate Philanthropy with Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiatives (APPI), where he integrates different thematic areas in a focused geography for sustainable impact.

Arghya holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Visva Bharati University, Shantiniketan, and a Master’s in Business Administration specializing in Marketing from ITM Warangal. He is currently pursuing an accelerated Management Program at UCLA. Arghya is married and has a son in class VIII. During his free time, he enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring new places with his family.
