Avinash Sapru is our Senior Director for Resource Mobilisation, Marketing and Communications. He is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in Fundraising, Strategy, Marketing and Brand Building. With overall 18 years of experience, Avinash has led successful resource mobilisation efforts for ActionAid India, Enable Ireland and SOS Children’s Villages of India within individual, corporate, high-value, and institutional philanthropy spaces besides working for Prognosys and Evolve Brands during in early days. He is passionate about the third sector specially social impact investing, Children and Youth, Women Empowerment, and Climate Change, aiming for a poverty-free and patriarchy-free India.

Avinash’s contributions to organisations in the past include making them self-sustainable through effective resource mobilisation besides adding value towards brand development, media engagement, and strengthening the functioning and governance of the organisations. He also serves as a trustee for the Scottish national charity ‘Neighbourhood Networks’. Avinash holds a postgraduate degree in marketing (M.B.A) from ICFAI University. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, photography, writing opinion articles, and spending time with his family.
